Jukely announced as Headline Sponsors for Venues Day 2015
Music Venue Trust, the UK registered charity which acts to protect, secure and improve Grassroots Music Venues, announces concert and gig subscription App Jukely as the Headline Sponsor for its Venues Day 2015 event at Ministry of Sound on Tuesday 20 October, in Elephant & Castle, London.
Newly-launched in the UK, having transformed and revitalised the live music experience in its native US, Jukely aims to galvanise a new generation of music-lovers into attending more gigs than ever before.
Venues Day 2015 is a unique event that focuses exclusively on grassroots music venues and their associated industries and services. Earlier this year the Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, announced the creation of the capital’s first Music Venues Taskforce, chaired by Music Venue Trust, which was set up to protect and secure its vital network of live music venues. Venues Day 2015 will provide an opportunity to discuss the findings and recommendations of the Taskforce with industry partners from across the country in order to help support live music venues.
The last few years have seen a number of high profile venues closing and there are fears that it could have a longer term impact on a sector that, as well as giving pleasure to millions of people, is worth around £1.6 billion to the UK’s annual economy.

About Jukely
Jukely was founded in 2013 by Bora Celik, a Turkish-born, New York-based engineer and concert promoter. Celik has an intimate knowledge of the live music industry, having previously put together close to 100 shows for leading, international artists, including top acts such as Tiesto and Kaskade.

Jukely’s concert subscription service has quickly taken root in 15 key cities across North America – including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Miami, and Toronto – and the company’s new London base will act as a springboard for further expansion into continental Europe in the near future, with major cities such as Amsterdam, Paris and Berlin already earmarked.
